My son has so many toys I no longer have a dining room but a playroom instead. So this year for Christmas I suggested taking him to do something instead of buying more toys. So my sister bought him a ticket to ride the Western Maryland Railroad, which has a special Christmas trip that included a yummy meal on the way down and fantastic dessert for the return trip and a visit with Santa. The only thing I had to bring myself was hot chocolate, because Emert reminded me that the polar express serves the best hot chocolate. My Mom, Dad and nephew went with us too-it really was a great day for the boys.
I had so many pictures from this trip that I had to do a double layout. Everything in the layout is from MME, except the snowflakes which were wooded and I painted and glittered them. This was my first time using washi tape, and I really liked how easy it was and how cute it looked on the page. The title was cut using my cricut.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
Paper playtime: Winter Fun Challenge
Lasting Memories: Polar Express Challenge
Creative Cutter Room: Holiday Theme without red or green
Frosted Designs: 6th day of Christmas 6 Washi Tape Strips

Beautiful paper, Jill! I have yet to play with washi tape and have to find the ones I bought weeks ago LOL! I love the pictures and your son looked like he really enjoyed the day. Love the wooden snowflakes on the LO too.
