Believe in Santa

My little guy turned 5 on Tuesday. He was sure that he was going to Kindergarten the next day, and that the legal driving age in PA is 5 so he would just drive himself to school. What a fun age!

We went to the mall last week and I was shocked when he said that he wanted to get in line to sit on Santa's lap, he wouldn't even walk past where he was sitting last year, we had to skip the stores that were on the other side of Santa. They had a staged picture of Emert and Santa looking at the camera, but I just loved this one of them talking to each other. I thought it really captured the magic of believing in Santa, totally unplanned his shirt has a Santa hat that says believe.

The paper is from Reminisce, except a couple of circles and stars were MME. The stamps are all from MCT, the one on the bottom says," If only time could stand still" and the circles say "ho ho ho" and "98% nice 2% naughty" which is my son!

I am entering it in the following challenges:
Lasting Memories: anything but snow
Anything but a card: light or winter holiday challenge
Paper Playtime: Christmas Colors Challenge
Frosted Designs: 4th day of Christmas 4 patterned papers
Cards Galore Scrapbook Challenge: Kids theme
and the sketch is from Boys Rule

  1. You did a great job on this challenge. Your placement of the 4 patterned papers turned out great! I love the fact that you also told a story about your son turning 5. How is that driving going? Such a cute age, I agree. Thanks so much for playing along with our challenge. I look forward to seeing more of your work throughout the rest of our 12 Days of Christmas challenge over at the Frosted Designs blog!

  6. What a wonderful LO! I love that picture of your little man and Santa! I may have to move to PA if the driving age for kids is really that early - maybe my kids can go drive themselves to school LOL! Have a fab weekend ahead, Jill!
