Eggs-treme!

Finally a warm day in PA! I am just hoping the snow melts by Easter. These are pictures of Emert dying eggs last year, the pictures were so cute I couldn't narrow them down and decided to make a grid. This was my first attempt at using a 12 x 12 template and gesso. After it dried I chalked it with purple and blue, which is hard to tell in the photo. I am excited how it turned out and will be trying this again! The title was cut using the spring cards cricut cartridge and some help from my gypsy. I found this really cool paper called shimmer sheetz, I used it for some of my eggs, the circle behind the photos and behind the title.

Color me Happy

Hello bloggy friends! It is fun to work on my Easter pictures from last year while it is still snowing outside-there is a winter storm warning tonight so my daughter is wondering if their will be another snow day tomorrow!

My title was cut using my circut, the eggs and letters in the word "color" were cut from the art philosophy cartridge and then glittered,"me" was cut from create a critter 2 and "happy" was cut from child's life. The twine for the banner is from the Twinery, which I took and braided. The bunny was from cottage cutz with a PKS for the face, I used stamps from MCT to clear emboss the eggs then inked them. All the paper is from core'dination.

Egg Hunt

Hope everyone had a fun St Patrick's Day! The tricky little leprechaun came to our house and left footprints and gold dust everywhere, we didn't catch him in our trap but did get a pot full of goodies!

These pictures are from last Easter, when the weather was warm and everything was green. I am not hopeful for the same thing happening this year, being I am home from work today because of the snow! The yucky weather made it even more enjoyable to scrap these pictures!

The title was cut at 2" from the create a critter 2 cricut cartridge and the tree was cut at 11" from the heritage cartridge. The big bunny was a cottage cutz die that included a PKS face. All other die cuts were from My creative time. The eggs in the tree are Jolees and colorbok. The stamp on the side is from Pink by Design. The background paper is from quick quotes and the tree is cut from core'dination. Everything else was cut from scraps I had in my scrap bin.

Lucky Day

It's March already and my son loves St. Patrick's Day. Last year at daycare the Leprechaun came in and pulled all kinds of tricks on the kids, including making a mess with baby powder. He can't wait for the Leprechaun to visit this year!

I cut the pot of gold & big shamrock out of core'dination paper using the create a critter 2  cricut cartridge. The title was cut from the phrases cartridge and then stickled it to give it some bling. The leprechaun bear was cut using the cricut cartridge teddy bear parade. The smaller shamrocks were cut using MCT die and they were stickled too.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Anything but a Card: Anything Green Or Irish or St. Patrick's Day
Pumpkin Spice: Green and 4 of something (I have 4 photos)
BBTB2: use a shamrock on a project from any Cricut cartridge
