Serve and Protect

Hope everyone on the East coast is safe and finding shelter. School was left out early today and is cancelled already for tomorrow. We have high winds and a snow storm right now-good time to do some scraping!

Emert was a policeman for Halloween this year, these are pictures from trick or treat this weekend. The top tag and the stamp are from my creative time and the paper is from Imaginisce. The background paper and Halloween sticker are from MME.  I cut the policeman with the cricut cartridge everyday paper dolls and used a peachy keen stamp for the face. The title was from give a hoot and originally said preserve and protect, I just eliminated the pre and made it serve and protect-which I thought was perfect for these pictures! I used MCT stamp and glitter to emboss the orange in the title to match the embossing and glitter on the page.

I am entering it in the following challenges:
My Creative Time-Use a large tag and MCT stamps
Paper Playtime-Anything goes
4 crafty chicks-Make a Halloween creation
Lasting Memories- Shelling out challenge
FCCB-Seeing spots challenge

treats for my sweet

Happy Halloween! We had trick or treat last night and my son loved it! We walked around for two hours until he finally decided he was finished. Before trick or treating began we made these treat holders for his daycare party, it was a great distraction from the how much longer until trick or treat question he was asking every 5 minutes. They are sippy cups that are orange with a green top that just screamed jack-o-lantern. I cut the black vinyl out with my cricut using the pumpkin carving cartridge. Then Emert helped me use the cuttlebug to cut out the leaves and tag and he helped stamp them and put on the glue for the leaves. The die cuts and stamps are all from my creative time.

I am entering this into the FCCB challenge which is use black and orange to make a Halloween project.
Also the pause dream enjoy challenge which is make a CANDY-licious project.

Thanks for stopping by!

My Pumpkin

Happy Monday everyone! It is time to carve pumpkins again and I decided I better scrap last year's photos. Boy how kids change in one year, Emert looks so grown up compared to these pictures. It goes too fast!!!

All the paper and embellishments are from quick quotes, except the solid colors which were from my stash. The title is cut from the cricut cartridge mini monsters, and I am not sure where the jack-o-lantern brad is from. The pumpkin and bat on the banner are from the Elmo seasons cartridge and the little boy is from everyday paper dolls. The cute little boy face is from peachy keen stamps. Emert said the little boy isn't him it's Daddy because he was wearing the blue shirt, can't argue with that logic!

I am entering it in the following contests:
Paper Issues: Halloween Harvest Theme
Anything but a Card: Fall or Halloween Theme
Paper Playtime: Boo-ville Challenge
Cricut Fanatics: Halloween Theme
More than Favors: Fall Theme
Quick Quotes: Use a Quote and this sketch

Peachy Keen Stamps: Use PKS and these colors

Pick of the Patch

I hope everyone had a great weekend! We had blue skies and got to decorate for Halloween inside and out. Emert is at such a fun age that he gets so excited and loves to help decorate. Last weekend we had my nephew Caden staying with us and even though the weather was cooler and had been raining that morning the boys wanted to go outside. So we packed up the 4 year olds and the teenager and went to the local corn maze which had this pumpkin patch. The kids each got to pick one-and had a blast!

The paper and embellishments are from Imaginisce, except the dark blue and orange which was in my stash. The large pumpkin was cut from the speaking of fall cricut cartridge and embossed using devine folder, it was then sanded and inked. The flourishes were cut from the Thanksgiving cartridge and the title was cut using the mini monsters cartridge. The stamps were from pink by design, the saying is " I searched high and low until I found a pumpkin as great as you" the original saying was friend and I replaced it with pumpkin.
The pumpkin in the title was originally on the purple circle. I thought it looked cute in the title and used the circle behind the other sticker. Which I stamped Happy Fall on-another part of a pink by design stamp. Thanks for checking out my blog. I am entering this in the following challenges:

Imiginisce- use the following color combo:
Ink it pink - Fall theme using pink by design stamps
BBTB2- Use a cricut fall pumpkin cut
Lasting memories-pick 4 items out of the hat-I chose pumpkins, die cuts, word/phrase, flourishes

Trick or Treat

This is Emert dressed up as a monster truck last year-this year he is going to be a cop. I am sure layouts of this halloween are not that far away. The paper is all creative memories and all the stamps are from my creative time. I cut the title with the cricut, but I can not remember which cartridge. The spider was a brad I had in my stash and I added some google eyes on him.

I am entering in the following challenges:
Paper Playtime-theme trick or treat and a die cut
My Creative Time-Use google eyes
Sketch from boys Rule Scrapbook Kit:

Charming and adorable

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I spent mine scrapbooking with some friends at a crop for our church. Which explains why I have been blogging so much the last couple days. These are pictures of Emert from last fall. The paper is MME, the memories tag was originally white and I added some ink and clear stickles to bling it up.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
Anything but a Card-something shiny, sparkly or blingy
