Believe

Can you believe it is the last day of July! That means back to school is right around the corner and I will not have as much free time, so I better do some layouts now. This one is of Emert at a Christmas party, he wouldn't take the present from Santa, but at least this year he stayed in the same room as him.

The background paper is from MME, the Santa and embellishment paper are cut/made from the Santa's village cartridge using my cricut imagine. Believe is from gypsy wanderer cartridge, the Santa w/boy is cut from a child's year cartridge, and I used Pink by Design Goodie label die and stamp. The silver brads were in my stash but the antiqued silver worked great with this layout.

I am entering it in the:
Ink it pink challenge which is Christmas in July and also BBTB2 who happens to have the same theme challenge.

as sweet as can be

My minds eye is having a great sketch challenge. Everything is from MME, I used a circle punch and punched out the circles from the pattern paper. Aren't my girls the cutest! Here is the sketch-who doesn't love MME!

softball

I spent the whole weekend at softball tournaments or scrapbooking-what a fun a weekend. This is my entry for the core'dination pininterest challenge. I found this layout on pininterest and scraplifted it!
This lo from @Cari Locken looks simple at first glance but the embossing with the @Sizzix Ellison owl folder, the scoring...sanding...it's beautiful!

Little Boy of Mine

2 Layouts in one day-have to love rainy days! I love this photo of Emert, believe it or not it was not posed. He was leaning on the bleachers talking to me at Cassandra's volleyball game and I snapped the picture. The frame, title and blue strip of paper are from My Minds Eye, all the other paper are from Core'dination. I am entering this in the Core'dination challenge to use strips of paper. I used the following sketch:

The Hunt

It has been rainy on and off today-which is the perfect weather for scrapbooking! All cuts were made with the cricut. The sun came from the celebrate with flourish cartridge, the basket is stretch the imagination, the banner strip is art philosophy, the title is from wildlife, the eggs are from Sophie, the chick is from simply charmed and the grass is from Easter. The faces on the sun and chick are from peechy keen stamps. All the paper is from core'dination. I used foam squares to lift up the face of the sun, the title, and the grass to give it some dimension.

All spruced Up

We have just returned home Monday from our vacation to Virginia. We had a blast, went to to Busch Gardens and Virginia Beach. As much fun as it was it is always nice to get home! I came home to some great challenges. I made this layout today and all the paper is from Core'dination. All the cuts are from Joy of the season and winter frolic cartridges, except for the window is from Christmas Noel.  I embossed, sanded and chalked the tree yellow-ir is hard to see in this photo. I sanded the window.

Snow much fun

It is in the  90's today in PA so I thought I would do a layout of cooler days! We had snow in October, then none all winter, then another freak storm in April. These are pictures from our April blizzard.

I used Pink by design Goodie labels and die to cut the tag and cottage cutz to cut the snowman and tree. I used tattered angles mist to a snowflake pattern on the red paper. I also embossed the red paper with the winter cuttlebug folder and used Martha Stewert snowflake corner punch. I also used pink by design snowflake background and embossed the right side of the blue paper-I know the embossing and misting is hard to see in the photo. The title is from Jolees and the snowflakes under the title is cut from the cricut cartridge winter woodlands. The snowmen at the bottom are felt and I used some fuzzy ribbon, not sure where they are from. I am entering them in the following:

Softball

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! We had a family picnic at my house and my 4 year old nephew stayed with us for 5 days, the boys had a blast but I am exhausted. Emert and Caden are 3 weeks apart, boy am I grateful I never had twins!

I made this layout today using Imaginisce paper, except for the plain yellow. The stars were made using the sports mania cricut cartridge, and the title was cut from 3 birds on parade cartridge. The stamps are from My Creative Time. I used my I-topper punch to make my sun, then stamped it with a peachy keen face. I used the I-rock to put some bling around the sun and in the middle of the stars.
I am entering it in the following challenges:
Bitten by the bug 2- Create a sunny project

Imaginisce: Create a layout/card/altered project with the word "SUN" (or sunshine) OR the object of a SUN in your project.

Cricut circle: Create a Cricut project of your choice incorporating at least 3 stars and stripes somewhere on your project.

And a sketch from artful delight:
