It is finally the weekend! Ours has been filled with softball games, picnics and helping my sister move-but I stayed up late and made this layout. The top picture is me and my two kids last Easter, and the bottom is my Dad and nephew Caden. My Mom snapped some pictures before church, the only reason I am actually in a photo-LOL!
All the paper and accessories are from MME, except for the rub-ons that were in my stash and the flower which I think was on a present my daughter had received and I of course saved. I cut the rose at the top using the Hanna Montana cricut cartridge. I cut the squares out at 2" and used foam to pop up every other square-it is hard to see that in the picture. some of the squares I embossed and inked. The strip on the side was punched with a Martha Stewert punch.
I used the sketch from the
sampler kit club:
I am also adding it in the color challenge at
Ideas for Scrapbookers whose prize is sponsored by the sampler. The challenge was to use the colors green, purple, gold.
Last but not least I am entering it also in the challenge at
BBTB2, which is to create a project with a cricut rose on it.
