Wedding

Hello everyone-hope you had a great memorial day. The weather was beautiful and we spent the day at a picnic. I did manage to make a layout for the wedding challenge over at frosted designs. All the paper is from quick quotes, and the white rub-ons are just from my stash not sure where they are from. I used a knife to cut along the flowers to tuck my photo and quote under. Thanks for stopping by!

Fun & Games

I made this layout for the cricut circle challenge, which was to use twine in a different way and have a birthday theme. So I put brads at the points in the star then wrapped twine around them, I think it made a really cute effect. I also used the string to hang the monster truck pinata. The title and monkey are cut from the birthday bash cartridge, and the monster truck is cut from the father's day cartridge. I also fussy cut a gravedigger sticker and attached it to the monster truck to make it look like the one from the party. It must have looked good because it got Emert's stamp of approval!

Ladies Man

I had a personal day today so even though the house needs cleaned I decide it was more important to make another layout. Funny how much faster it goes without kids helping.

All the paper is from quick quotes, except the black dots are from imaginisce. The flowers were fussy cut and then chalked to match the paper. The title and top hat were cut from formal occasion cartridge and the tag was cut from gypsy wandering.

Just 4 You Emert

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you have some fun plans for the weekend! Mine will be a softball tournament tonight and all day tomorrow, then Sunday is my beautiful niece's baptism. Cassandra is all excited because she gets to be the Godmother.

For this layout I used the create a critter cartridge to cut out the title, then used word party to cut out the balloons that spell Emert. The stack of presents is from the new arrival cartridge and I embossed & chalked them. I also used a white gel pen to accent the title and presents. The border of gifts is from gypsy wanderer, and the cloud is from Nate's ABC's. The flower was cut and stamped from My Creative Time collection.

I am entering this in the following contests:

Easter Wonder

Happy Friday everyone! I have been staying up late and working on layouts this week, our dog died suddenly Monday night and I have been having trouble sleeping-so all the scrapbook challenges this week have been a wonderful diversion! I used the baby step cartridge for the title, which I embossed on the cuttlebug and then chalked. I used the spring card to make the nice dye job embellishment, and the gypsy wander to make the eggs and grass. I also added buttons in the shape of a bee and dragonfly, you can see them better if you click on the picture.

I am entering this in the cricut circle scraps only challenge and the delightful inspiration sketch challenge:

Splash Time

I was pretty ambitious last night and finished another layout-I had a lot of great inspiration this past weekend! For this layout I used the imagine cartridge enjoy the seasons to cut out the sun and pool background. The title is from the 3 birds on parade cartridge, I stamped and glittered the title. The Slide is from the carousel cartridge, I cut it out multiple times and stickled it to add dimension. I also used the blackletter cartridge to cut out the flourish behind the picture of Cassandra.

I am entering this in the cricut circle challenge which was to use an older and newer cartridge to create a project.

I am also entering this in My Creative Times, "Monday Madness....Imagine That!" ~ Sketch Challenge, using the following sketch:

pumpkin' head

This is the layout I finished last night. The title and large pumpkin are cut from the autumn cartridge and embossed with the cuttlebug. I also used orange chalk on the word head. The smaller pumpkins were cut from happy haunting cartridge and embossed, their faces are from peachy keen.

I am entering this in the cricut circle color challenge, using the 2 shades of blue, green, orange and black.

And also the let's get sketchy challenge using the following sketch:
