Weekly Challenge #22: Once Upon A Time Challenge!

The Challenge: Include a Fairytale or Folklore figure in your project

So for this challenge I made a LO that included the frog prince(and princess) which I made on my gypsy (Yeah me for figuring out how to use the gypsy) the frogs and lily pad are from animal kingdom, the crowns are from 3 birds on parade, and the heart was from the sweetheart cartridge. The faces were peachy keen.

The title: Toad-ally Yours in from the Spring holiday card cartridge, and the custom paper with my kids names on it I bought from scrap your trip

Weekly Challenge #20: Love Notes Challenge!

This week's challenge was to put your scrappy skills to use by creating an extra special note for someone you adore. It can be a friend, your mom, a lover, your child, a neighbor . . . anyone! Your project must include a heart and embossing (we want to see you incorporate those Cuttlebug embossing folders). Project must also contain atleast 2 Cricut cuts to qualify.

I used wild card cartridge to cut the heart shaped card. I used d'vine folder to emboss the heart. The saying was from paper pups, the white shape was cut from spring cards, and the rest was cut using Nate's ABC's.

The card is for my sister's birthday-she has a cat and dog so I thought she would really like this. I asked my daughter if I needed to add anything else to the card and she said it would be overkill-so I took her advice and left it as is.

Weekly Challenge #19: Whatevah! Challenge

“Whatevah!” is a phrase a lot of parents of teens hear around their house on daily basis. We thought we’d take that phrase to heart for this next challenge. What we’d like you to do is use WHATEVAH shape you would like, but be sure to repeat it three times on your project. Project must also include spray ink and must be newly created for this challenge.

Well finding spray ink in my small rural community was my first challenge-so after much internet reseach I made my own paint spray and create my first sprayed paper. Those of you that have experience with this how do you keep the paper from getting wavy? Anyway-I repeated the crows in the trees and the jack-o-lanterns for my pumpkin carving LO.
