Weekly Challenge #18: Back to the Basics Challenge!

For this challenge we want you to go “Back to the Basics” . . . by using ONLY the cartridge(s) that came with your machine or Gypsy! You must use THREE cuts on your project (the complete title or words counts as one cut). We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
I used for this challenge the imagine more cartridge that came with my new cricut imagine machine.  The paper is from echo park’s be mine collection and the flowers are prima, with a music note brad in the middle. This is the first time I used foam to raise my title and the piano-I like how it added dimension.

Weekly Challenge #15: Cute As a Button Sketch Challenge!

For this week's challenge we are to use the sketch, and incorporate STAMPING and BUTTONS. If the cricut circle were to give a prize for the worst stamper I could win the prize hands down. It took me multiple tries to stamp and emboss the swirls under my dragonfly button, but I did manage to get a stamp and button on my LO. YEAH!

Weekly Challenge #15: Feeling Frosty!

We challenge you to incorporate:
  • white paint
  • metal
  • and a snowflake cut on your project this week
I used white paint to accent the scalloped squares (which were cut from winter frolic) and ice stickles inside the snowflake
The metal stickers are Monday's Metals from pressed petals
The snowflake was cut using winter lace
The phrase was also from winter frolic

The Challenge this month was to:
  • Use 2 or more Cricut Cuts on the project.
  • Use a project you have seen on the Cricut Circle Blog as inspiration for your project.
  • Use products from at least two of our Sponsors (click on the "Sponsors" along the top of the page to see a list of manufacturers).

  • I scraplifted this project from Jana Eubank because I thought it was so CUTE!!!
  • I used the Cricut lite cartridge Jolly Holidays to cut my phrase, tree and Santa.
  • I used the Bazzill basic light brown paper for my background and Cosmo Cricket rub on for my two sponsor items.
